I just wanted to take a moment to express my deep gratitude. I probably don’t do this often enough, but I am doing it right here, right now. The Everyday Ketogenic Kitchen hit #1 Best Selling status this past weekend on Amazon and I am just over the moon. And I am very well aware that it would not be possible without you, my wonderful and supportive readers. Every time someone tells me that they bought the book because they know my recipes always turn out well, my heart does a little happy dance. I love writing the recipes and it’s such sweet vindication that people out there in the world love using them.
Now, the Best Selling Status only lasted a day. That’s typical on Amazon, as they have over 8 million books for sale and things are always shifting and changing. But apparently I can now claim myself as a Best Selling Author in perpetuity. So I will take it! It was also in the Baking Cookbook category, which just tickles me as for a few brief moments, I was beating out Dorie Greenspan and Yotam Ottolenghi. If you know your baking superstars, you know that this is a pretty big deal. Again…I will take it. With pleasure!
Not to belabour my point or anything but really…I got here not on my own steam. Okay, a little on some of my own steam but very much on YOUR steam too. Your love of my recipes, your sharing about the book with friends and family, your photos on social media, and your reviews on Amazon are what got me here. So thank you for this. I really am forever grateful!

Apparently many of you have been cooking up a storm, and I love seeing your photos. So I thought I’d share a few of these real life photos from amazing Keto Home Cooks. Because I can show you all my pretty, professional photos and that’s fine and good and may convince someone to buy the book. But what really makes this a Number One Best Seller? Real people at home, actually making these low carb dinner, breakfast, and dessert recipes!
Sincerely…thank you. And keep them coming!
Raspberry Lemonade Gummies made into Gummy Worms!

Yeah! I’m still on the fence about your other cookbook (doesn’t that sound nice?) since I really only need the baking one BUT it’s you and I’m still thinking about it. Love your book, very glad I bought it. HUG!
Carolyn says
That’s okay! Hang on for my Desserts cookbook…should be coming out in the summer. It’s totally fine…you don’t need to buy every book!
Vicki K says
Congratulations…and you’re welcome too! Looking forward to the “dessert” cookbook. I don’t find it that hard to make main dishes keto but good tasting desserts are always a challenge. Thanks for all you do. I never had a good carb sweet until I found your site. I’ve been reading your blog for years and din

I should add that I made the butter pecan cookies last night. They were quite tasty but almost as important they are sturdy and hold their shape. So many low carb cookies will crumble before your eyes if you look at them funny. Great job.
Carolyn says
Thanks, Vicki. Crumbly cookies are infinitely disappointing!

I’m making the Flourless Sunflower Seed bread today (still searching for good toast recipes) and I was wondering if this would work with any/all of the other nut butters? I love peanut flour bread, but it’s a pain to find the peanut flour and I was hoping to just use peanut butter. What do you think?
Carolyn says
It should work with any nut butter….depending on the consistency of the butter, you may need to add a touch more liquid.

You are a wizard. This bread is amazing and the best I’ve found so far for toast, sandwiches. I’m going to use up my Pumpkin Seed Protein powder with this. And thanks for the jam recipe with the peanut butter and jam cups. I’ve finally found a jam I can use with my cream cheese on a slice of toasted Sunflower Seed bread.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
