Interested in trying the new keto subscription boxes like Keto Krate? Check out my review and enter to win a trial box!
So, friends. I have been testing out this new phenomenon of low carb subscription boxes, wherein a box comes my way every month with new and interesting low carb and keto products for me to try. Keto Krate is really a lot of fun and I am always eager to see what goodies they have included for my tasting pleasure. After seeing so many of these food box subscriptions hit the market, most of which contained foods I can’t eat, it’s nice to see one that caters to our low carb, low sugar diet. Not every product in the box is a winner for me but that’s the nature of these things. I’d say that most are hits, with a low ratio of misses. And I get a little taste of something before deciding whether I want to purchase more of it on my own.
Now, in the interests of full disclosure and transparency, I will be honest and say that I am receiving these boxes free of charge, so that I can review them for you and promote the Keto Krate brand. The real question is…would I purchase it on my own if I was not a blogger and an influencer? I honestly think I would, actually. I have such fun testing everything out and my kids love it too. In fact, I’ve been making live streaming videos on Facebook of our honest opinions of the products inside, with my kids as “expert panelists”. And you can always trust kids to be brutally honest about these things!

And now, I am happy to report that I get to give away a Keto Krate trial box to THREE lucky winners! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

I wish there was a way to enter the giveaway for those of us who follow you on facebook and don’t do instagram or twitter.

I am actually asking them to change that. I didn’t realize they didn’t have a non-social media entry. Hang tight, I will let you know when the extra entry is up!
Carolyn says
There is now! I just had them add one where you answer a simple question. Good luck!

Thank you!

I tried to enter via the question option, but when I hit “save” nothing happens.
Carolyn says
Hmmm, let me try…
Carolyn says
It worked just fine for me. Did you add your email and name where it asks before you hit save?
Roxana says
Thanks for sharing all your opinions! Great information to have when trying new things!

I do not have instagram but glad to be able to enter the other ways

There’s something wrong with the cauliflower mushroom risotto link. Both the photo and the “cauliflower mushroom risotto” text bring me to the keto krate instead.

Oh, do you mean my newsletter! Oh dear, I am sorry about that.

The link for the Fish with Cilantro Lime Butter as well! 😉
Carolyn says
Dang. Oh well, I screwed up. I think people will have a fit if I email them again. 🙁

The fish w/cilantro lime butter link on the weekly newsletter directs me to the keto crate (but the mushroom cauliflower risotto link works fine). Will you be posting the fish recipe on your main website in the near future?
Also, are you familiar with Bob’s Red Mill Low Carb Baking Mix? It is 8g net carbs per 1/4 cup serving. The BRM website says it can be used cup-for-cup in recipes calling for flour, though on the actual package it says “cup-for-cup in recipes calling for other low-carb baking mixes.” I’m confused here as to the difference, or if there is one?
Though it isn’t gluten free, I hoped maybe you had some experience using it?
Thanks!
