Six delicious low carb holiday recipes that won’t send your blood glucose soaring. Plus a generous giveaway from Bob’s Red Mill.
If you were paying attention, you will know that today is not World Diabetes Day. That actually passed us by on November 14th and so this post is a little delayed. Given the terrorist attacks in both Paris and Beirut last week, my friends at A Sweet Life felt strongly that it was not right to post a giveaway on Saturday. I applaud them for their sensitivity and concern. It’s certainly a difficult time in the world and our hearts are with ALL of the victims of terrorist violence, everywhere it strikes.
So let’s just call today World Diabetes Day instead. It doesn’t matter what day we acknowledge it, really. Diabetes isn’t going anywhere and we should be driving awareness all the time, not just on a single day in November. To that end, I have worked with A Sweet Life for the past few weeks to bring you recipes from some really talented bloggers that are diabetes-friendly and perfect for the holidays. You can enjoy wonderful food during all the festivities and still manage your blood glucose successfully.
And to help you stick with the program, we are hosting a giveaway for $100 Bob’s Red Mill gift card. Bob’s is always supportive of a healthy lifestyle, no matter what your dietary restrictions. This makes them a perfect and generous partner for World Diabetes Day.
