Green Beans Almondine

This classic French consists of tender crisp sautéed beans topped with buttery almonds. It is easy, elegant, and delicious.

 INGREDIENTS NEEDED: • Fresh green • Butter • Slivered almonds • Garlic • Red pepper flakes • Lemon juice • Salt and pepper

Blanch green beans in boiling water for 3 minutes. Remove and add directly to ice bath to stop the cooking process

Sauté almonds in melted butter until golden brown. Add garlic and red pepper flakes and cook for another 30 seconds.

Drain the green beans and add to the pan. Toss to coat in the butter and sauté to warm through.

Add the lemon juice and season to taste with salt and pepper.
