Keto Chicken Marsala

This keto chicken marsala is a classic dish with a healthy twist. You can’t beat this pan-seared chicken with rich mushroom sauce. And only 4.5g of carbs per serving.

INGREDIENTS NEEDED: • Chicken tenders • Salt and pepper • Extra virgin olive oil • Butter • Shallot • Mushrooms • Fresh sage or thyme • Dry marsala wine • Chicken broth • Heavy whipping cream

Season chicken on both sides with salt and pepper.

Brown both sides of chicken in a hot pan with oil, about 5 minutes per side. Remove to a plate.

Melt butter in the pan. Add shallot and cook until translucent. Add the mushrooms and sauté until golden brown. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and the sage.

Pour the marsala over the mushrooms and let cook until the wine is reduced by half. Add broth and whipping cream and bring to a boil.

Let sauce cook until it is beginning to thicken.

Add chicken back to the pan and cook another few minutes to heat through.
