Roasted Poblano Sauce

Add bold flavor to your favorite proteins and veggies with this Roasted Poblano Cream Sauce.

INGREDIENTS NEEDED: • Poblano peppers • Butter • Garlic • Cumin • Chicken broth • Heavy whipping cream • Salt and pepper

Slice each poblano in half and cut out the stem and seeds.

Roast the peppers then place in a bowl and cover tightly with plastic wrap for 15 minutes. Remove  and discard the skins.

Place roasted peppers in a blender and process until smooth.

Melt butter then add garlic and cumin. Cook until fragrant.

Add poblano purée and broth then bring to a simmer. Cook until broth is mostly evaporated.

Stir in the cream and cook another minute until heated through.
