Salt and pepper
¼cupOpen Nature Old Fashioned Creamy Peanut Butter
1tablespoonsweetener of choiceoptional
Lettuce for wrapping up the burgersif desired
Instructions
Preheat the grill to medium. Cook the bacon until crisp and then let drain on a paper towel lined plate.
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and pepper. Mix with your hands and then form into 4 equal hamburger patties.
Grill the burgers until done to your liking. Mine were medium at about 3 to 4 minutes per side. Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes.
In a microwave safe bowl, melt the peanut butter for about 30 seconds (this makes it easier to spread). Whisk in the sweetener if using.
Spread the peanut butter over the burgers and top with 2 slices of bacon each.
