Wash and trim the green beans and drain them well. Pat them dry with a tea towel to reduce any excess moisture.
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering. Add the beans and sauté about 5 to 6 minutes, until the beans are bright green and becoming tender.
Add the garlic and sauté another minute, until becoming fragrant. Then add the chili garlic sauce and sauté another 2 to 3 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately.
