The Everyday Ketogenic Kitchen cookbook is almost here and I will be going on tour and signing my little heart out! And for every comment left on this post, I will donate $1 to Hurricane relief and recovery efforts.
And just like that, it was fall. Summer is gone, the chilly rain has set in, and now I really REALLY need to start promoting my cookbook. Hopefully by now you’ve heard that I wrote a cookbook, a 385 page tome of keto deliciousness, with over 150 low carb high fat recipes to keep you loving this lifestyle. If you haven’t heard, then please go check it out and if it’s of interest to you, please put it on pre-order! It releases officially on October 3rd and your support means the world to me.
The Everyday Ketogenic Kitchen

EVERYDAY KETOGENIC BOOK TOUR
And hopefully by now, you’ve also heard that I am doing a book signing tour. 6 major cities, including my hometown of Portland (and my former hometown of Boston!), where I hope to meet and chat with as many of you as I can. And I hope if you are in the area, you will come out and talk keto with me and let me sign your copy of the book. Scroll down to RSVP for the various locations!
Hurricane Harvey and Irma Donations
So what does all of this have to do with hurricane relief donations? Well, one of my book tour destinations is the lovely but hard hit city of Houston. I have to be honest, I waffled about whether I should even go, given the circumstances. Does Houston really need me chatting about low carb diets in the midst of hurricane recovery efforts? But maybe it does. Half Price Books, who will be hosting this event, feels strongly that the show should go on and I commend them for that.
But I didn’t want to come without actually DOING something to help. While my husband and I have already made some donations, I want to do more on behalf of my blog and my book.
That is why I will be donating one dollar for every comment left on this blog post, up to $1500, to relief and recovery efforts for Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. Leave your comment by October 1st.
You don’t have to buy my book or come see me on tour: if you leave a comment here, I will donate on your and my behalf. One comment per person, obviously, but beyond that, I don’t care if you’ve never even heard of me and a friend told you to comment. Just leave one, just to say hi, and a dollar goes to hurricane relief. That is all you have to do.
I am also looking for a volunteer opportunity to actually help a bit while I am there, so if anyone knows of a way I can do this, please let me know. Feel free to email me your ideas at alldayidreamaboutfood@gmail.com. A lot of the volunteer organizations down there seem to require more than a day’s worth of time and that’s all I have on the tour, I am sorry to say. But I am willing to get dirty and work hard.
So that is all. Leave a comment, tell your friends and family to leave a comment too. And if you happen to be in the Houston area and can make it on October 10th, I would love to see you there!

Ive had your book on pre order for months. I received it yesterday and so looking forward to trying many of these recipes. Lots of great information in there as well. Best of luck on your tour. I hope in the future you will be able to come to NYC or Philly. It so nice to hear that you are donating to the hurricane victims!
I also wanted to ask what is the drink pictured on the back of the book cover? Looks like some kind of chocolate milk coloured drink with delightful whipped cream. I tried to look through the recipes but couldn’t find anything similar.

It’s the Frothy Collagen Hot Chocolate. 🙂 It’s good but a full meal unto itself!

I wish you every success with your book launch. If only your travels could include a visit home to Canada as well for book signing. I feel I know you from the blog, and I would cherish an oppotunity to meet you.

Thank you so much! This is a beautiful gesture! Btw, I have seen you on the “Completely Keto” FB group. Harlan and Kim have started a “Completely Keto Recipes” FB group as well. They have a list of trusted Keto bloggers that you can share recipes from. If they are not on the list, you have to type out the recipe, and give the author credit. I just thought you might want to reach out to Kim and Harlan and get your site on their list! Will generate much more traffic for your amazing recipes! Blessing to you! <3

Thanks for the tip. I am somewhat disappointed to hear that I am not already on this list but I reached out to Harlan.
