This book is a great starter for those new to the keto low carb lifestyle. The information provided gives you everything you need to know. The best part is every one of Carolyn’s recipes have always been a success when I made them. This is important as the ingredients used can be more expensive then normal ingredients. I have shared several recipes I have made with my coworkers and they had no idea that they were low carb or healthy for them and were shocked when I told them.
Carolyn Ketchum has been one of my favorite Keto bloggers for years and I've used many of her recipes from her blog All Day I Dream About Food. So when she said she was writing a cookbook I couldn't preorder fast enough! Since I got my paperback copy, I've ordered another as a gift and also added the Kindle book to my cooking library as well as the paperback.
Carolyn starts by explaining what a Keto diet is (it's not really a "diet" but a WOE --- a way of eating --- that promotes health and weight loss. She tells you what ingredients you can expect to use in the recipes. This is a lovely book. The photos are gorgeous, the recipes all sound delicious, and the introductory information is extremely helpful. I will be using this much more than most of my cookbooks because the recipes are made with user friendly ingredients, and are not complicated to prepare. Kudos to the author for such a successful first venture. I'm eagerly looking forward to her next books.
