Sugar-Free Keto Cocktails

I am a girl who loves a good cocktail. Preferably something crisp and tart and not too sweet. Too many cocktails are ruined by being overly sweet, and now that I am on a keto diet, my taste for sweetness is diminished.

Now, many people eschew all alcohol on a keto diet and that’s great if that’s how you want to do it. But we all approach keto from different places and for different reasons and for me, a fun drink at the end of a long week is relaxing and rewarding. And apparently I am not alone, the way Keto Happy Hour by Kyndra Holley is flying off the shelves. It just released this past week and it’s #2 in Wine and #3 in Cocktails and Mixed Drinks on Amazon.

Keto Happy Hour Book

Kyndra is my girl. We have “known” each other for going on 6 years now, when we both worked on a collaborative low carb cookbook that shall remain nameless. It was kind of a disaster, truth be told, and the folks spearheading it were controlling and a little, um, nuts. So we walked through that fire together and came out the other side, both relatively unscathed and professionally soaring to greater and greater heights. But we’ve always stayed in contact and cheered each other on and I am truly grateful for her support. And happy to support her in return.

We finally got to meet recently when she was out on her book tour and I can attest that she’s just as delightful in person as she’s always been online. And she knows her stuff when it comes to cocktails, which means we were destined to become friends. This is a girl you want to hang out with over libations, believe me.

This is such a fun book with so many great recipes, and it’s a one-of-a-kind in the keto world. There is simply nothing like it. I have had such fun thumbing through it and last night my husband and I treated ourselves to some keto French 75 cocktails. I chose that one because it’s easy, it’s delicious, and I had already had the ingredients. Gin, lemon juice, champagne and a little sweetener – I almost always have those ingredients in my house!

Best Keto Cocktails Book

If you love cocktails and want more sugar-free, keto cocktail ideas, Keto Happy Hour is the book for you. Right now it’s only $13 on Amazon so head on over and order it.

But I am also giving you the opportunity to win one, right now!

    Lemon drop. ?

  4. Pre-keto my favorite cocktail was a Salty Dog (grapefruit juice, gin, and a little salt). Now, I mostly stick to wine or Champagne. Unlike Carolyn, I like a sweet drink! …Well, I did until 2 years ago. 😉

  5. Hubby and I, both Keto, have sworn off our beloved beer as of 8 months ago. We are interested in some yummy mixed drinks though.

  6. Terese Roenker says:

I tried to comment through the contest but it wouldn’t let me so here I am. We tried to make margaritas last night but did know how to keep them keto so we just had shots—not good! I think I need this book!

    1. This is where you are supposed to comment anyway! 🙂

  7. I like a mojito mocktail!

  8. Theresa S says:

I love a good daiquiri. It’s all about the sweetness for me. Harder to do a keto lifestyle.

Looks like a great book! Favorite cocktail: Diablo Margarita- jalapeño infused tequila, muddled cucumbers, Swerve, and ice. A little heat & a little sweet.

  10. Catherine says:

My favorite cocktail is a Moscow Mule or Kentucky Mule.

  11. Kim Garner says:

    Sounds delicious!

  12. Dottie Watkins says:

Other than a low carb beer (Miller 64), my favorite alcoholic drink would be a whisky sour.

  13. Melissa Leach says:

Who knew? It would be amazing to be able to have something tasty besides wine. Not that there’s anything wrong with wine. ?

  14. I’d have to say a Margarita is my favorite, but i’m also a fan of martinis

  15. Margaritas are my favourite cocktail but this looks good enough to become number one.

  16. Kevin Stephani says:

My youngest turns 6 today. Perfect for the adults in the room to celebrate!!

  17. My favorite cocktail? Do I have to pick just one? Depends on time of year, my mood, and where I’m at, but it’s always keto and always yum! 🙂

  18. Would really like to win this book. Recipe above sounds great will have try it..

  19. My favorite drink is a Gin Rickey.
