2025 was a delicious year on All Day I Dream About Food. Here are my most popular recipes created over the past year. Did your favorites make the cut?

I think it goes without saying that 2025 was the worst year of my life and I won’t be unhappy to see it in the rearview mirror. My heartbreak at losing my husband, my love, my best friend, has changed how I move through the world. I am deeply sad and feel a little unmoored without my life partner. But I also feel fiercely determined to look after my children, to be the best mother I can be, and to live life as fully as I can. Tim would want nothing less for me.
Despite all of that personal turmoil, it was a successful year in terms of recipes. Delicious low carb recipes that delight the senses and nourish the body – that is always my goal.
As you will see from the following list, baked goods were in high demand this year. Only one savory recipes made the cut for the Top 10!

2. Air Fryer Keto Cookies

I love all your recipes but I prefer your amazing real meal recipes rather than for desserts. As a Type 1 diabetic, I have successfully eliminated my sweet tooth but do use the dessert recipes for holidays or birthdays for my family. Bless you in your tremendous loss of your best friend and husband. You are an amazingly strong woman.
Carolyn, your keto recipes are outstanding! A year ago I was prediabetic, my liver was failing & I was out of work for 2 years due to spine issues & surgeries. I refused to become diabetic & a coworker had bragged so much about Keto cooking online. I decided to jump in! I don’t remember how I found your recipes. But the time off allowed me to experiment and cook more (which I’ve never liked). I could tell no difference in taste or look that a recipe was keto. I was determined to never eat more than 15 carbs a day. My labs are normal, I’ve dropped 10 lbs and I look forward to being able to exercise soon on my own. Thank you for all the work you’ve done to provide healthy and delicious recipes, and for sharing them with us. Going back to regular sugars and flours don’t even interest me. My honey loves the healthy cooking & meal prep. Carolyn I’m so very sorry for your tremendous loss. My prayers & thoughts are with you & your family.
Thank you!
Again, thank you for doing so much for those of us who need to eat keto! Personally, I was floundering trying to make recipes that I could eat without raising my blood sugar and failing miserably. I’ve never been a great cook, only adequate. My T2 diabetes diagnosis came as a surprise and shock to me, in 2011. (undiagnosed in 2006) I didn’t eat desserts, no candy, cookies and I tried to avoid sugar. For a few years I took herbal supplements that helped me keep it in check, and then that failed and I had to go on meds. My employer balked at allowing me time off to get my A1C tested and my doctor dumped me. Again, I tried herbal supplements but they stopped working for me, and I heard about keto. I had no idea what I was doing, but tried to eat lots of fat and protein. Again, it failed me.
I finally found a homeopathic doctor who took me on and we worked together, finding I also had extreme adrenal fatigue due to stress at work and the thyroid issues. I again had to go on meds with added ones for the sugar. For the past 10 years, my blood sugar levels have stayed around 250…still FAR too high. Until…my daughter bought me your book the Everyday Ketogenic Kitchen. She made your Maple Bacon Pancake Muffins for me, and I was hooked. I was still working and was so tired after, so cooking wasn’t something I liked doing, so, again I floundered.
4 years ago, I decided that my job was literally killing me so I quit. Then, just this year, I found your blog. Finally, I had the resource to make GOOD, successful recipes that were healthy and tasty and didn’t require hours slaving in the kitchen. I am not exaggerating when I say you literally saved my life. I have been using your recipes exclusively as they seem to work better than any other keto recipes I’ve found online. I have purchased all of your printed books TWICE. I got the books then decided that If I’m going to be making the recipes I needed the spiral versions, so I gave the books to my daughter and now have the spiral bound cookbooks to make life easier. I still cheat occasionally, about 94%-6% but my blood sugar levels have dropped about 100 pts! When I no longer cheat, I feel it will go down within non diabetic range if I’m good.
I say all of this to you knowing it’s long and maybe TMI, to let you know that you make a difference in peoples lives with what you do. I, personally thank God I found you because I now feel my life will not be cut as short as I felt it would be when I didn’t know how to do keto properly, and can have foods I never thought I would be able to again, with modifications that you have shared with your readers.
THANK you for sharing your hard work with us out here who may be struggling with trying to make the best of a diagnosis that often seems impossible to live with.
My condolences about your husband and partner. I’m certain that he is smiling at what you are doing for your children and helping your readers find health.
I have enjoyed your high quality site for several years. Thankyou for creating so many wonderful recipes. I can tell you reach for perfection and hit that high bar. I also wanted to encourage you to take time to heal after your husbands passing. Ive been there. It really is true when you find your true mate , the two of you become one. It can take time to regrow your other half when you lose them. I hope you treat yourself with compassion as you grow your other half again n become whole. Life is a wonder of surprises. God bless all the good you do. I got married last year at 74 to a wonderful man. Ive been a widow over 20 years. A major surprise I never saw coming. We just dont know our future .
Thank you.
