2023 was a very delicious year! Here are the Top 10 Keto Recipes of the past year. Did your favorites make the cut?
Another year has come and gone, and it went by in a flash. While I enjoy thinking of the year ahead, I also love looking back over the year’s accomplishments. Particularly of the foodie variety!
I do this sort of retrospective post every year because I love creating keto recipes. And I always find it fascinating to look back over the past 12 months to see which of those recipes resonated most with my readers and followers.
As a recipe creator, you never quite know what will catch people’s attention. Sometimes your favorites get overlooked, whereas another recipe will go viral when you didn’t expect it. It’s all part of the food blogging game!
This year, the top spot goes to one of those unexpected recipes. Can you guess what it is? Read on to find out!
10. Cheesy Keto Monkey Bread
Whether you are a football fanatic or not, you will love this Cheesy Keto Pull Apart Bread. It’s essentially a savory version of a keto monkey bread, and it’s tender and flavorful. And it’s such a fun keto appetizer!
9. Keto Coffee Creamer
I wanted to create a really good low carb coffee creamer that adds just the right creamy, sweet quality you love and mixes in easily. And I have to say, I am pretty certain I accomplished that goal!
8. Keto Chocolate Blackout Cake
This is the most amazing chocolate cake I have ever made in my life, keto or not. And I am not even sure what to call it. Keto Chocolate Blackout Cake is the best I could come up with.
7. Keto White Chocolate Fudge
I am immensely proud of myself for perfecting this Keto White Chocolate Fudge recipe. As in “pat myself on the back, toot my own horn” kind of proud.

Want an old fashioned dessert that makes you feel like a kid again? You can’t go wrong with a classic baked custard. And this keto custard recipe is heaven on a spoon.

These Low Carb Granola Bars are chewy and sweet, just like the ones you used to love. They will fool your tastebuds, for certain.
4. Lemon Chicken Soup
This Greek-style Chicken Lemon Soup is lighter fare and it’s just right for an easy spring meal. I first tasted Avgolemono Soup a long time ago when having lunch with my aunt. We were both instantly taken with the bright, fresh flavor.
3. Keto Cowboy Cookies
Many of you will recognize these Keto Cowboy Cookies from my cookbook, The Ultimate Guide to Keto Baking. It’s easily one of the most popular recipes from the book and I am always getting emails and messages about how good they are.
2. Protein Muffins
These chocolate protein muffins are easily my new favorite breakfast. They are fluffy and moist, with a rich chocolate flavor. And the added protein gives me the boost I need to tackle a tough workout or a long run.
1. Peanut Butter Protein Balls
In keeping with my promise to bring you more low carb high protein recipes, I present to you these delicious and ridiculously easy Peanut Butter Protein Balls. I have been munching on these daily for the past few weeks. And I don’t plan to stop any time soon!

I’m sure these recipes are all great but your delicata squash deserves to be on the list too. I made some again last night and had with a bison burger – would much rather have than french fries.

It’s a great recipe… but it wasn’t created in 2023 and thus not eligible for inclusion! 🙂
