How to make Keto Donuts
Most keto donut recipes are for baked donuts. Yeast and risen donuts are difficult to accomplish with gluten-free and low carb ingredients. And most keto dough will simply fall apart if you try to fry it.
But if you’re really craving that fried donut flavor, I have a great solution for you. Quite some time ago, I made “fried” coconut flour donuts by first baking them and then frying them in an inch or so of oil. A couple of people have copied this little trick since then, but I do believe I am the first to have tried it.
But baked keto donuts can also be wonderful too, and for that, you need a good donut pan. I highly recommend the USA Pan donut pans, as they are are incredibly durable, non-toxic, and so nonstick that your homemade donuts practically fall right out of them.

Unbelievable recipes I am so excited to find this site. I usually only use monkfruit sweetener.
Anyone else tried swapping them out?

The last recipe, air fryer donuts, uses carbquick. what would be a good sub or a different air fryer recipe you suggest? Thanks.

Good question. Sorry I didn’t notice that. 🙁 I think you could still try it… I might do a coconut flour based one, like my Samoa donuts. Watch them carefully, I simply don’t know how long they will take! And lower the temp… I find my air fryer cooks things WAY too quickly.

I made the maple bacon donuts. YUM! i made 12 (used one donut pan twice), my carb eating son ate 5 of them in two days! He loves them! I only ate 2 but then I’m counting carbs but they filled the need for sweet, bacony, and delicious!
