Have I ever told you how much I love chicken wings? I really, really love chicken wings. Remember the old childhood taunts of “oh you love [insert silly item here] so much, why don’t you marry it?”. Well, if state law allowed me to marry chicken wings, I might actually do that.

I firmly believe that chicken wings should be their own food group, one that we should be instructed to consume on a daily basis. Make sure you get lots of veggies in your diet, kids. Oh and don’t forget about your chicken wings! Chicken wings help you grow up to be big and strong. Forget about apples, a chicken wing a day helps keep the doctor away.

Thank goodness that chicken wings are naturally keto. I’ve already done a low carb chicken wings recipe round up before but it’s time to do it again. Because chicken wings rule and since that time, I’ve created a number of other recipes for that ever-so-tasty part of the chicken. And with the Super Bowl coming up in a few weeks, I figured you fellow wing addicts could use a few good keto recipes. We’ve steered clear of the sugar sauces and glazes so you just get the best keto wing recipes the internet has to offer.

Wing it up, friends! Wing it up!

  1. Andrea Burgdorf says:

Filipino friends taught me how to just sprinkle them with garlic salt and fry until crispy.. Of course you could also air fry. If you bake them (400° for 30-35 min) be sure to spray the pan or silicone mat with olive oil. They just serve with sriracha sauce. I also like to make a dip of ranch dressing and sriracha.

Restaurant’s serve boneless wings….nice to not wrestle with all those little bones. But are those truly wings? I assume you use bone-in wings—with the skin on them— from the grocery store?? I’ve never purchased them….

But these sound so yummy! Do you end up eating the skin?

    Inexperienced with wings,
    Marilyn

    1. Boneless wings are not wings… they are basically chicken nuggets. But they are also usually breaded and not keto-friendly.

Yes, you eat the skin and meat right off the bone. It’s not hard and kind of fun… and it slows down your consumption which is better for your gut!

Thank-you Carolyn! I appreciate the clarification! Will buy wings next time I shop and give one of your recipes a try!

  3. Yes,Yes, Yes.
I truly am a Winger! Thank-you so much fir the awesome variety of wings. I can’t wait to try them. It’s going to take awhile. But I’m determined……
    Thanks again Carolyn ????????????

  4. I used the sauce from the Teriyaki Wings to use as a base for stir fry. That was a great idea. As it turns out, almost all store bought teriyaki sauce is not only high in carbs but also contains gluten. Both of which are problematic for my husband and I. I am so thankful for such a great recipe. Thank you once again, Carolyn, for sharing your culinary genius!

    1. Have you seen the teriyaki sauce from Primal Kitchen? it’s great and completely soy free!

  5. Lots of great wing recipes! People should know that the recipe for Heroin Wings is originally from Dana Carpender and was in her “500 Low Carb Recipes” cookbook among other places. It’s been one of my favorites for many years. It’s a shame that some of the oldest and best low carb advocates aren’t getting the acknowledgement they deserve by some of the new “gurus”. Keto Kary mentions on her site that she doesn’t know where the recipe came from but there wasn’t a place for comments and I’m not big on social media. Anyway I just wanted people to know.

    1. I have that cookbook and use it frequently along with Carolyn’s. I forgot about this recipe though so thank you for your post!
