How to make Keto Donuts
Most keto donut recipes are for baked donuts. Yeast and risen donuts are difficult to accomplish with gluten-free and low carb ingredients. And most keto dough will simply fall apart if you try to fry it.
But if you’re really craving that fried donut flavor, I have a great solution for you. Quite some time ago, I made “fried” coconut flour donuts by first baking them and then frying them in an inch or so of oil. A couple of people have copied this little trick since then, but I do believe I am the first to have tried it.
But baked keto donuts can also be wonderful too, and for that, you need a good donut pan. I highly recommend the USA Pan donut pans, as they are are incredibly durable, non-toxic, and so nonstick that your homemade donuts practically fall right out of them.
