How to make Keto Donuts
Most keto donut recipes are for baked donuts. Yeast and risen donuts are difficult to accomplish with gluten-free and low carb ingredients. And most keto dough will simply fall apart if you try to fry it.
But if you’re really craving that fried donut flavor, I have a great solution for you. Quite some time ago, I made “fried” coconut flour donuts by first baking them and then frying them in an inch or so of oil. A couple of people have copied this little trick since then, but I do believe I am the first to have tried it.
But baked keto donuts can also be wonderful too, and for that, you need a good donut pan. I highly recommend the USA Pan donut pans, as they are are incredibly durable, non-toxic, and so nonstick that your homemade donuts practically fall right out of them.

I would love to win this donut pan! Since I’m new to the keto diet there have been so many expenses just buying all the specialty flours, sugars, etc. that the expense of some of the cooking pans and gadgets have been put on the back burner.
Please pick me! :). Have not had a donut in months, maybe years!
🙂
I don’t know, I can’t spell. I know what it means either way. Would love to win a donut pan not just to make low carb donuts but also to make low carb bagels
Oh my gosh, this is getting pinned and slowly I will work my way down the list. I say donut when texting, otherwise I say doughnut as I’m super hypocritical about when I am a grammar nazi.
