I followed the recipe for the taco pie but the ground beef under the cheese wound up tasting like egg. Not sure what I did wrong.

Sounds like maybe you packed your beef into the pan so the egg didn’t flow down in between.

These all sound so yummy! Would love to see this as a cookbook!

Are there other keto product that you like? I ordered keto crusts and bagels from a site that makes a lot of low carb products and they were inedible
Carolyn says
Do you mind telling me what site? I am working on a page of recommended products to make things easier. I do have a lot I like but there are plenty of not-so-good ones too. 🙂
Martha says
Are there any keto recipes that are not so high in fat?
Carolyn says
Of course! But meatloaf typically isn’t one of them, since it’s meat, meat, and more meat. Turkey meatloaf can be lower but also you have to take care that it isn’t too dry.
Here’s a good one that’s lower in fat… https://alldayidreamaboutfood.com/keto-chicken-yakitori/

Hi Carolyn thank you for the recipes. I was wondering do you happen to have a cookbook with the recipes in it that I might be able to purchase?
Carolyn says
I have 6 cookbooks… but not any that are just ground beef. Is that what you’re looking for?

Tracy Andries says
Thanks for posting these recipes. Now if we could find any ground beef. There hasn’t been any for days here in MN. Luckily a friend’s mom raises cattle and I’m getting some soon. Will try some of these recipes.
Carolyn says
Hi Tracy… yes it seems like a lot of people stocked up on that. Remember, though, that supply chains are still in place and your local stores will stock up. The trick is to ask them when they re-stock and to be there right after.
Tracy Andries says
Stores aren’t saying when shipments are coming in because they’re having problems with hundreds of people showing up to get their “share.” It is crazy out there. ????

Mine are telling us!
