Hey there, friend, you look busy. You ARE busy, what with work and family and other social obligations.

Seems to me that you could use a nice big collection of keto dinner ideas to streamline your hectic life. Am I right?

Of course I am. That’s why I put together this awesome list of easy keto dinners. Because you know what? I am just like you. I’m busy, and overwhelmed, and I need more easy ideas too.

Simplify your keto diet routine

We all have a knack for making things unnecessarily complicated sometimes.

Who doesn’t, right? You automatically think things are going to have more steps or require more work than they actually do. And you automatically think you have more time to do it than you really do.

But weeknight dinners need to be easy. We’re all so busy these days, none of us have the time or the inclination to spend hours in the kitchen preparing a gourmet keto meal.

Well, my friends, I wrote the book on Easy Keto Dinners (quite literally!), and I want to help you streamline the process and make things easier for you and your family.

Ingredients

One of the most important components of creating easy keto recipes is having the right ingredients on hand. My comprehensive list of keto pantry staples is designed to help you identify the basics.

Stock your freezer with plenty of hearty protein like ground beef and chicken thighs.

And make sure you have a good selection of fresh and frozen vegetables. Frozen cauliflower rice and pre-cut zucchini noodles are a godsend for quick keto meals.

I also recommend having eggs, cream cheese, cheese, and bacon in the fridge. And plenty of spices and herbs for flavor.

Cooking methods

When it comes to easy keto dinner ideas, it’s important to consider the method in which the dish is being cooked. Is there a lot of prep work? Do you need to stand there stirring constantly? Or can you just dump in all the ingredients and attend to other concerns?

Don’t be fooled by overall cooking time. Prep time is a much better indicator of how easy a recipe is. Recipes that take hours in a slow cooker sometimes require much less active work than one that takes 30 minutes in a skillet.

Some of my favorite quick recipes are soups, casseroles, and stir fry.

Utilize your Instant Pot or air fryer, if you have them. They can really cut down on the time it takes to get a healthy dinner to the table.

Be sure to check out all of my keto instant pot recipes!

  1. You are my go to when I need a recipe
Especially if it requires baking. I wasn’t good at it before keto and you’ve been a life saver. Thankyou for figuring it all out for us.

  2. What an incredible collection of recipes — thank you so much!! I’ve saved many of them to Paprika (If you’re not familiar with Paprika, it’s a wonderful recipe manager software and app that syncs between my laptop and phone — it’s a life saver for meal planning and grocery shopping!) so that when I sit down to meal plan, they’re already there for me to choose from. I have all of your cookbooks and must download at least one recipe a day from you to the app. (I sound like a commercial, but I promise I’m just a real person who loves Keto and your blog — and Paprika.) Blessings — keep the amazing recipes coming!

  3. Are these recipes available as digital downloads for purchase? I just don’t have time to print out this many recipes.
    Thanks for the awesome recipes.

    1. Not at the moment. You might like the Kindle version of my book, Easy Keto Dinners, though. Not the same recipes (a few crossovers) but it’s a good one! https://amzn.to/2LIaDnL

  4. I want to order the cookbook but don’t want to go through amazon, they tried to automatically enroll me in a membership charging monthly fees. Had to cancel my card. Any other way to order

    1. Barnes and Noble carries it too!

  5. Thank you so much! I’m doing Modified Atkins Diet for seizure control and LOVE keto recipes! The MAD is working and I feel great. Thank you for all you do!

  9. Are all of these recipes in one of your cookbooks? They look perfect. I just prefer a printed cookbook. Thank you!

    1. No, they are not. A few are but publishers want original material in printed cookbooks. Many readers simply print my recipes and keep them in a binder.

  10. Lisa Mikkelsen says:

I would love to make one or all of these recipes, but I can’t find any links. Help!

    1. All the recipes are linked by the name of the recipe right under each photo. Are they not working for you?

  11. Awesome roundup! Looks like I have all the meals I’ll need for the week!

  12. I looked through your recipes and think they will work for me. I have COPD and it’s hard for me to cook so my recipes must be simple. Thank you. Will keep watch for your future posts.

  15. I can’t wait to try these recipes!

  16. Carolyn, I’ve been a low-carber on and off for several years when I needed to get my BP and cholesterol under control. It worked! However, I tend to get in a rut so you have changed my life, dear girl! I have not found one of your recipes that didn’t hit it out of the park for me. I am a loyal fan for sure! Thanks a bunch!

    1. Well, thank you. That makes me smile!

  17. Thanks for this post, I am always on the look out for new blogs I haven’t discovered yet and you have provided a couple. I am also on the look out for new dinner recipes ( this is not to say I don’t appreciate your dessert recipes cause boy do I ) but my husband cannot eat red meat of any kind so this makes it even harder to make a low carb dinner for us. I have gotten used to subbing ground turkey for beef and have discovered that using broth from dried porcinis gives it a very beefy flavor. Now I have a few more recipes to try, Thanks for that.

    1. Great tip on the mushroom broth!

  18. I’m all about easy, especially at dinner time, so I love these ideas! And thanks for featuring a couple of my favorites.

    1. You’re welcome, Kalyn!
